What is Clone Hero?
Clone Hero is an indie music rhythm video game created by Ryan Foster, first released on March 1, 2017. The game is a clone of the Guitar Hero franchise, and as such, features nearly identical gameplay. The game features the ability for users to download .chart files and play them within the game. This gives the community the opportunity to be self sustaining and creative.
How long have I been charting for?
I have been charting, under my Gamer Tag and Online Name of "TheGoatMan", since October of 2019
How many charts have I made so far?
As of July 2021, I have made roughly 40 charts of 40 different songs, ranging from a wide variety of sources. I have made charts of songs from anything from Friday Night Funkin' to Alter Bridge to Oliver Tree.
Why do I chart songs?
I chart because this is a passion for me. I have loved rhythm games for as long as I can remember. I was first introduced to them as a kid but they became a huge part of my life when a friend first introduced me to Guitar Hero. He invited me over to his house and he showed me Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and I was hooked. I absolutely fell in love with the franchise and played it for many years after that. I eventually put down the plastic guitar for a few years and finally picked it right back up when I found out about Clone Hero. Much like charting is a passion project for me, Clone Hero is a passion project for the team that made this game. It is not monetized and is purely for the fans of Guitar Hero, Rockband, and rhythm games alike.
